This happened immediately after my Windows 11 x64 monthly update for November. The update included also cumulative update to .NET...
I have encountered this also, although not necessarily due to the same cause.
In my case it seems to be caused by the fact that TV Server has stopped. The MP client tries to connect to TV Server during startup (i.e. the splash screen), and ends up in a wait state. I think that if you wait long enough you may get to the MP "Home"...
