me to sometimes i can sometimes i can not.

FLVs played via http can't be skipped with the FLVSplitter. WMV and MP4 can be skipped as it seems (also depending on the server). So it's nothing that the plugin itself can change. If the source and method of playback support skipping, then it will work in MediaPortal.
