But a current recording still not appears in the MyTV/RecordedTV-List.
If I select the current recording in the EPG and select to play it from the begining, the TVServer starts the timeshift and did not play the recorded file.
But if you have the option to play it from recorded TV, then it shouldn't result in an exception?
And I think a lot of ppl have recorded TV as a Video dir.
I have just played around with this and all seems to work for me, I see all the recording streams (MP-streams) and can also get to them via the Guide (MP-Guide)
Will admit have no idea about how to get to them from scheduled (tv) though...could not find a way of doing that with TV server. Seem to remember that on the stable pre TV3 version the scheduled (tv) used to show if a scheduled program was recording and the same dialogs as in the attached MP-guide.jpg was displayed.
Guess thing we really need to know is what (as far as beta testing on TVEngine3goes) are we testing here? What is the designed method used to view recordings in progress...difficult to test or even be sure if it wrong without knowing how it is meant to work....
1. Start MP
2. Goto My Tv
3. make sure its recording something
4. goto Scheduled
5. you see a list of all schedules
6. select the schedule which is recording
7 press f9 to pop up the context menu
8 select 'play from beginning' or 'play from live point'
Damm, did not relise that F9 was the context menu...was looking for that, did not look hard enough it seems..normally only use a remote not a VNC connection to home...
