has anyone had any experience with this card, i cant seem to get DXVA working, and when it does work it stutters like mad, CoreAVC doesnt help

Cyberlink 9. Cyberlink has prevented usage of filters from other programs, but in net there is HD_pack somewhere that enables usage of them with MP. I have noticed that sometimes MP filter config won't enable dxva in cyberlink filters. I use free monogram graphbuilder to insert filters into graph and then use right button open filter properties and there i enable dxva and then use filter in MP.
Overall 8400GS works really good in my system.

i havent even tried MP on this machine, i was playing around with MPC-HC and couldnt get it to work

Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
