Hm yes. there is something wrong.

it plays here very well, if i'm using the "P" key, but somehow the remote stopped working.
will have a lookat it later today.

I have the same issue using the default skin.
I can play the playlist using the keyboard so the playlist seems to be functioning correctly.
-Other programs such as MusicMatch and MediaMonkey play the playlist fine.
I can play random 5 songs using the remote so the remote seems to be functioning correctly.


The Onexception errors you mentioned appear to be occuring because the Now Playing screen doesn't support the playlist entry. I'm assuming this is because it's an IP. When I set the Jump on play to None the errors were no longer logged.

Log and playlist attached in zip.

This log contains failed remote attempts and successful keyboard attempts.
Log entry 2009-05-10 21:15:04.640625 is my unsuccessful remote attempt.
Log entry 2009-05-10 21:15:16.000000 is my successful keyboard attempt.

If it helps my MCE remote is RC6

Hey loving the plug-in.. Just a few questions and a bug or two...

Seems that occasionally I will loose Remote Control use while flipping through Genre's.. Noticed that this only seemed to happen when simultaneously having the plug-in flip to "Now Playing" or "Playlist view"... If I disabled it and had it just sit in "Home" there was no problem.. A mediaportal requirement would be required to regain Remote Control use. This is not a big deal as I decided to keep it in "Home" any way... Worth noting though...

The other thing I wanted to ask was with the Genre selection... It is rather limited... Should we not be using KeyWords search rather the precise search... For instance one of my fields is "Jazz" but this misses "Contemporary Jazz" "Classic Jazz" etc... Why not have the option (tick box) to let it do by Key-word or by Precise... On top of that AND OR and NOT would be a nice touch... But really to have it go by keyword is crusuial...

What's the OneButtonMusic.mpi file for? I just copied the DLL as instructed in the readme.

The mpi file does the copying to the right location. we had users copying it to plugins\windows instead of plugins\process.
MPI files are used by MPInstaller.exe
