Hey hwahrmann any thoughts on my post above?

Found one more small bug...

1.. Press button to play music genre...
2.. Press Red button to activate Milkdrop visuals
3.. Wait for song to play through as it goes to the next song

Wola! Look at what happens to the visuals.. They switch out of full screen more and reside in the standard small box location...

Thanks

I'm using MP1.0.2, with latest plugin, but also tried with original and cannot get this to happen, are you sure it has anything to do with onebuttonmusic, and not with visualisation in general.

Please post the log with Debug turned on.

    Here you go.
The log named remote is an example of just the remote commands. Once I press play on the remote, all other buttons except the arrow buttons fail to work.

The log named kb then remote is an example of using the keyboard successfully. I was able to start play with the keyboard then stop play with the remote. I was then able to start play with the remote a single time but then the other buttons failed to work again, including the stop button.

    Thanks for all your help!

are you sure, that you run the latest version of the plugin?
to me it looks like you still execute old code.

later today, i'll create a special debug version for you and will pm you the link to it.

I thought the same thing so I deleted the old plugin and reinstalled it twice before I was certain it wasn't working. I even used the slick new .mpi installer :)
    - awesome job with that btw...takes the guess work out of it for those who might miss that part of the instructions.

well shouldn't a %Rock% in the value field do what you want? Please try that.
about the "and" / "or" this requires coding. will see, if i find sometime and mood

    Sorry, didn't recognize i'm talking to an end-user. :)

    no problem.

the data is selected from the database via an SQL statement.
the "%" is a wildcard meaning matching any number of characters.
so %Rock% will select everathying that contains the word rock.
Rock% matches everything that starts with rock
%rock matches strings that end with rock.

i think using %rock% should be fine with you.
at least i could simulate it on my machine.
