One Button Random Music? (1 Viewer)

Hi hwahrmann

I am running MP1.0.2
I downloaded OneButtonMusic.MPE1 (14kb) v1.7 from here
I ran extension installer
Start -> All Programs -> Team Mediaportal -> Mediaportal -> Mediaportal Extension Installer
Extensions -> Install local extension... -> OneButtonMusic.MPE1
I get the error "Invalid Package !"

Thanks, that is working for MP 1.0.2 now.

The plugin still has one small behaviour error when it is used with mediastream's myhome.xml
Set play button to load 100 x random tracks with rating >1
Set Jump = None
Click play on myhome.xml, Playlist is generated, songs start playing, but currently viewed menu item is also loaded.
Example: If My TV is currently highlighted menu item, then when i press play i will end up in the tv menu.
This behaviour does not occur in basichome.xml
I think it is because mediastream uses a process plugin to generate myhome.xml and that process plugin must also catch the play button and loads the currently selected menu item.
This could be listed as a known bug, work around wound be for the plugin to have option to jump to home screen as well as a jump = none option.

EDIT: The above behaviour has stopped occuring. Either it's intermittent or I have somehow accidently solved the problem.

No 'Playing Now...' appears but the mp3s were playing and I can't close MediaPortal.

What can I do?

Looks more like a codec error.
Can that music file be played from the My Music section of mediaportal?
What is the full file name of that music file that is in the error diaglog box?
The other thing i notice is that file has special 'o' character.

It's definitly no codec error. All mp3s were playing well in the normal music area.

try to recreate your music db in mp-config! I think that helps...

Just wanted to thank you for making this plugin. I have been getting constant complaints from my wife concerning playing cd's. She didn't want to turn on the tv to start a cd already in the drive or having to eject and re-insert to autoplay, (which i guess is reasonable enough) but there was no way to automatically play a cd just by pressing play. Your plugin solved this . I just made a playlist referencing e:\track01.cda, e:\track02.cda and so on up to track25. Now when she presses play on the remote, it starts playing the cd in the drive and stops when it reaches the last track.

Hi,

I am running MediaPortal 1.1 beta and 1.7 of One button and right after music starts playing it throws an error. Are these versions compatible?
