Feature request

Hi hwahrmann,

Thank you for this great plugin!

I would like to request multiple features;

1. Play button plays random from a predefined folder
We have a folder with music for our kid, witch i cant seem to exclude from the database.

2. Pressing 0 on remote deletes current song
And asks if you are sure offcourse...

3. Autoplay on MP startup and if possible, resume after watching movie/tv


Please is this possible?

I have just using this plugin: a top effort

Firstly, the albumart/track info box works out-of-the-box (in the bottom-right corner) when pressing any of my pre-defined playlists for one button music.

But using various visualizations (in fullscreen mode), I get varied, but unsuccessful results for the generation of the albumart & track info listing at song change.

With Sonique's Aorta, I get the albumart but no track info. With Sonique's Rabbit Hole 1.1, I get no track info or albumart; just the default volume speaker in the blank box -in top-left corner. This is using my remote's numeric keys for pre-defined playlists/genre types. The albumart/track info works perfectly from within the music section of MP. When I load an album/playlist, then the albumart/track info box is generated properly.

One thing I have just noticed in writing this, I stopped a playlist, went to basic home screen & clicked on the number 0 remote button, which is assigned to random song selections. At song change, the box only shows the albumart from the previous music playlist (in this case 10cc front album cover).

Not sure what logs to supply, if any. Any ideas on where to start? Thanks again.

really a great plugin! But...

here is a feature request:

1) If listening to a random generated playlist, sometimes I want to listen to other songs from the currently played artist. Example:

The current played song is from Michael Jackson. Then I want to press a button and I want to have a new playlist with only Michael Jackson songs (or add all the songs directly to the current playlist as next played songs).

2) The same as above, but get only the songs from the current played album (matching to the song).

Is it clear what I mean? Hope someone can realize it!

Both samples are implemented and will be part of the next release, which i should publish by tommorow

#1 is implemented
#2 won't be done, since i don't want to have so easy deletion of a file.
#3 AutoPlay on MP startup and on Resume from standby is implemented.
Doing a resume on stop of TV / Video is a bit tricky. seems not possible with the current player architecture.

Yes, you#re right. there seems to be some problem. will look into it.

Videos are not such a valueable resource as music files.
To be honest i was never missing a delete functionality for music so far.
i haven't even noticed that this is not available in MyMusic. Thought it is there, like we have e.g. for TV Recordings.
will think of it again.

It is available in MyMusic via 'file menu'.
I have however to turn on the TV to use that function, hence my request for a simple keypress solution...
I have just thought up this; pressing the 0 3 times in one second deletes the file.
