One Button Random Music? (2 Viewers)

Hi:

Using MP 1.2 RC: I have extracted the zip file on the first page to my medial portal folder.
Now what's next ??

Can someone please tell how this plugin works ??

Did you go into MP Configuration, plugins, onebutton, and entered your preferences?

This was my first idea.
The problem is that I don't see any "one button " plugin inside MP configuration !!!

Check top right of MP Configuration that you are in Advanced or expert mode.

I use always the expert mode.

Maybe I extracted to the wrong place ??

I'm using win 7 , where exactely do I have to place the dll file ??

the onebutton dll file needs to be in the plugins\process folder of the mediaportal program files folder.

Ok now my problem is:

Neither Using StreamedMP nor using default skin, i see no "one button " feature !!!

How does it works ???

If you use basic home screen, get focus on the music section, press play and the plugin should generate a random playlist of 100 songs. In the configuration, you can change this, and also program the keys from 1 to 9 on your remote, e.q. genres, artist and so on.
This is a plugin that I use often, very good one.
Hope this help you using the plugin.
But if you're using classic home screen, pressing play button on your remote should generate playlist, does not matter where the focus is, if I remember correctly.

By basic home screen I think you mean the MP main menu.??
And it only works when music folder is focused ??

Yes you can map webradio stations to your numeric keys !!
I did it for all 10 keys!!!
Just create a single playlist per station with the webadress of your station and
in the config of the plugin select playlist for the key you want.
Make sure your *.pls file is in the standard playlist directory!

Example of config: see attachement

Example of a pls file:

[playlist]
File1=http://82.201.100.9:8000/Radio10Gold
Title1=Radio 10 Gold
Length1=-1
NumberOfEntries=1
Version=2

For your station only change the URL after "File1" and the"station name after "Title1"

I also would like to program some buttons with radio stations however I can't figure where to place the pls files.
I don't see any play list directory.
Can someone please tell me where to place my pls files ??
