One Button Random Music? (1 Viewer)

I haven't done this, but I would think that the playlist should be in the folder that you define in the Music section in Configuration - Music, and press the playlist settings tab. There is the playlist folder defined.

I have it there but when I set for example key 1 and give the name of the folder where the radio stream is it plays but not the station !!!

Ok Guys, I would like to set some buttons to play my favorite radio stations.
I pickup the link of the radio station place it on the folder called "my playlists" .

Then I go to configuration of one button and select a key to use with that station.

I name the key same as folder but it's not working, it starts playing something else from my music database.

What am I doing wrong.??

I got the same problem as Hilfer. I created a playlist which has a shoutcast radio station in it. I selectit to be played at startup but is does not get played. Some random music from my database is started. Checked and tried this several times but it won't work

Any solution would be really appriciated! Thanks.

EDIT: As stated below, when manually selecting the playlist the radio starts just fine indeed, same here...

It's strange as it works ok with:

Artist
genre

I think only the playlist is the problem, and my pls file is correct,it plays on aimp2.

Ok I've made a few tests with 2 radio files like this:

My conclusions are: both files play inside MP music section when selected manually
None play when activated by a key through " one button music "

Both play the same music from inside my music data base.

Any ideas ??

I tried 2 ways of enabling the hotkeys: giving the name of the playlist or giving the entire path to the play list folder.Nothing worked.

Both playlists work fine.

just store them with an extension of .pls in your playlist folder.
then you can assign it either to the "Play" button or any numeric button.

if it still doesn't eork then post the logs please.

Ok it's working now:

I know why it was not working.

I used to copy and paste de name of the stations , but with win7 it copies only the name and not the file extension.

Now I added manually the extension pls and it's working.

I stll have 2 more questions:

1-When playng randomly is there any key to go to the next music ??

2-When playing a playlist with a radio stream and when I stop playing and click another key (for a new station) nothing happens ?? I haveto return to basic menu and then it works !!
is this the normal behaviour ?? this doesn't happen when playing music from my database.
