One of two TT S2-3200 card's sometimes shows "No signal" (1 Viewer)

Hi Sebastiii,

I tried the S2-3600 also in Mediaportal. This card does not work for me. Check the following link:

I use 2 S2-3200. If you use one card it works fine.

Did you have the USB version too ?
I would say that mine works around 97% for all channels except somes "unable to start graph" or "no signal" and need to tune another frequency to make it works.
Like it's the 100% the 3650-CI maybe USB one has less bug

I had also the technotrend S2 3650 with CI module. I have send back this card and requested the S2 3200 which works in my case, only problem I have is 2 cards in one server wont work :-(.

Hi,
i have written a small application to restart TVService and MediaPortal. I have tested it in my VM and it works so far. To start this executable you have to use MPStandbyhandler or HibernateTrigger.

Yesterday this issue happen again. The second tuner have "no signal" in mediaportal manual control section. So i test my script and it works like it should. After restarting tvservice both tuner works normal again.

I have had this with my T500 dual dvb-t, re-init delay set at 20 seconds, tvserver shows both cards available, one will however not tune to a channel, upped the delay to 25s and so far, this has not repeated itself.

This seems to be a new issue, as in the past, if cards not detected correctly after resume, they were shown as such in tvserver as not available, so it was obvious they would not work, but this showed both cards being available, just one would not work.

I know from reading previous posts that you tried the re-init delay, did you try with something larger than 15 seconds, ie 30.

Just to add, when i say this is new, its because I have not used TVServer for recording for over 12 months
so any changes that may help pinpoint this, I would have no idea when or what may have introduced this "different" behaviour.

Hi all,

I have put my 2 TT s2 3200 cards in the same server and gathered the log files of the TV server.
What you can see is that I tune to channel with name JIM -> Works fine
Next I try to tune to channel Een HD which is on a different transponder: -> Bad signal error.
In the logs you can see that mediaportal knows that Card 10 is tuned to channel JIM and that he has to use Card 6 to tune to channel Een HD.

When I use one card (it does not matter which one) it works. Both cards have a valid subscription card and work if only one is used.
It smels like a bug in Mediaportal.


Can somebody help me with this?
