That is indeed correct, I didn't yet switch to the beta, because of, well, "beta"
Hmmm ... would it be a lot of work to support both then ? The beta streams are SO much better (the resolution of the old stream is so low that I really can't watch it on my bigscreen and this cool plugin kinda becomes unusable for me).

Hi, I am a big user of BBC iPlayer but miss the subtitles, which are available in the Online BBC iplayer version but not available in the Online Videos version.
Would it be possible to add in the subtitles feature?

Kind regards.

Hey just wanted to note that TED TALKS seems to be down... The all category works but all the sub categories do not. Also TVNZOndemand seems to be down... Otherwise gotta say, this plugin has grown leaps and bounds since I last used it..

Good stuff guys...

~All,

Does anyone have a way to schedule daily auto updates?
I'm looking for a way to have a refreshed list every morning when I get up so I may bypass the 'Perform Automatic Update?" step

Thanks

doskabouter: I tried the "genericsitecreator" but that crashes when I enter base URL "beta.uitzendinggemist.nl" and then click "Create Regex". Any idea's ? Thanks !

Oh, and by the way, Doskabouter: the XOT plugin for XBMC features a script for handling of the beta stream (chn_nos2010.py). It contains info on how to hash the episodeID using the security key for example (LOL, the NOS trying to secure their stuff ;) ). If you consider to create support for the beta stream (I hope so ! ;) ), then maybe this code can save you some time. Thanks !

you should enter the complete url (http://beta...).

I think I will try to adapt it to the beta, as it seems that it's been around for quite some time now, and I hope that they don't change it too often

Awesome ! And nope, I don't think there's need for the old feed anymore ;) Cheers !

Good luck! It's not very hard to get the video url, thanks to the xot uzg script.

I have it working in PHP :)

Nice :) The stream uses "&start=x" for seeking to a certain point, where x is the number of seconds since start. However when I use a generated URL from your site and add "&start=600", the video still starts at 0. Did you have any luck seeking/starting a stream to/at a certain time ?

*EDIT* hmm actually seeking works perfectly, at least for the std asx stream
