to change MovingPictures with MyVideos in the menu, i must to re-generate ALL BasicHome by the menu editor?
Or is possible to chanche only MovPic ? In wich ways?

Hi mamachan,

To change from Moving Pictures to Video in the BasicHome.xml that comes with the skin do this.

Open BasicHome.xml and find this line;
<hyperlink>96742</hyperlink>
change it to;
<hyperlink>6</hyperlink>

Thats it.

A new version is now released (R170), see first post. Important to remember when installing this version is that you must delete the folder xfactor in MP cache directory (othervise you won't get new versions of existing graphics).

I did not have time to add tvgemist but it is work in progress.

Improvments;
* TV Series: now has a semi transparent black overlay so fanart is visible.
* TV Series: number of tv shows is displayed
* TV Series: Supports view change from within the TVSeries plugin (list, wide banners and filmstrip).
* Moving Pictures: number of movies is displayed
* Menu Editor: you can define custom paths for backgound images to submenu items
* Menu Editor: now possible to add an exit item to the basichome
* Menu Editor: an entry called "Multishortcut" is added for those who want to add custom menu links like I did for Virtual Tennis 3 and Colin McRea as you can see in the screenshots.
* 4TR: Recorded Tv now supports upcomming version of 4TR
* 4TR: TV Guide added to support upcomming version of 4TR

Some of the bug fixes are;
* Music: little lamp for the playlist control "Repeat" is broken
* Now Playing: album title label on the now playing screen is wider than the player
* TV Series: the blue dot is off . should be in the grey vertical row like in moving pictures.
* TV Series: logos now visible (path was wrong)
* Pictures: the menu text is to big in english
* All: you can now see the complete time in the top left corner
* TV: Label is Missing is solved

Many of the new plugins are plugins that I don't use in my own installation. This means that it was much harder for me skinning these and testing. So please, if you find any bugs in the added skin files let me know.

have noticed a couple of things, the "W" on switch view and the "S" on options is slightly faded

2 questions though.
- I have just installed the mylyrics plugin (because it looked cool in your screenshots )
Most songs however have lyrics of more than one page. Is it possible to make the text scroll or something? I can only see first page of lyrics now and can't switch to next page?

- Is it possible to add fanart in the widebanner view of tvseries? That seems the only view without fanart?

hey cul8er... i found a few things in tvseries i wanted to point out ...

01. if no fanart is present in filmstrip, its plain black background.. should be the xfactor background that is used in widebanners..

02. the menu at top (switch layout - run import - change layout - options - videosettings) is almost each and every title faded causes its set to a to small area... give it a few pixels more and its good..

03. remember my comment about having the movie title if no poster is present ? its there in tvseries...
