It would be great to have some pandora support in MP and also maybe connect it to last.fm. In that way you can listen on streaming music based on your favorites. =)
Pandora integration into mp would be realy a killer feature.
Wouldn't it be possible to write a plugin based on the webbrowser plugin, but dedicated to pandora ? With remote control keys mapped to the functions of the pandora player ?
I am pretty sure that something can be done. There is some standalone player for pandora : Pandora box, or open pandora.
Those soft have shortcuts (right click on app) to rate music, skip track, play / pause, station, ...

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
