I have one idea, hopefully more than just me would have a use for it.

In MP Setup, television, TV Channels, then edit per channel, An option could be added to specify the Default aspect ratio for that channel.

Cheers

would be a nice feature, i can't really see a major difference in aspect ratios per station tho, so i'm not quite sure if in australia for instance their would be any differences?

We get stations transmitted in 4:3 and some transmitted in widescreen and having to change the aspect ratio everytime you change channel is annoying to say the least.

In New Zealand, TV3 is 16:9 and TV1 and TV2 are 4:3 but may change fairly soon. Not sure about C4 and Maori TV. These are on the digital Freeview sat service that launched 2 May 2007 on Optus D1.

I guess it is because I'm a kiwi too - this would be a neat feature to have.

I'm tired of having to set the aspect ratio every time I change to TV3. Would be great if MP could do this automatically :)

According to Wikipedia, Windows only uses code pages other than UTF-8 to support legacy (mostly 32 bit) applications and supports two code pages in addition to UTF-8 (OEM and ANSI). According to Microsoft, UTF-8 has been the preferred character set since 2019. If TV Server (or its import routine) were using UTF-8, then umlauts...

I used to use the grabber but a few years back it disappeared on FreeSat DVBS. That is when I changed to EPG Collector. The extra benefit is that it collects from the Sky platform so it will give EPG for all the FreeSat channels plus the unencrypted movie channels on the Sky platform. It also allows me to pick the channels dedicated...
