Can confirm this DVDFab issue. Some weeks ago another member reported the same issue in german forums.

I reported it and they tried to help but not really hard. Soon they were asking me to upload parts of rip they could use to debug the issue. I never bothered. That bug is so obvious they should really not need me to reproduce it.

    Here is the http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showthread.php?t=26413

    ... still trying

In graph studio, we can't see mpchcsubs engine, so no sub can be displayed, could you retry with myvideo and watchdog first option ?
It will make a clean log and maybe see why it failed :)

    Thanks.

Ca depend aussi mais on pourrait faire qqs tests en direct via IRC :)

    Hi,
PGS need to be parse from the splitter LAV or whatever :) You can use different source splitter like Haali etc. (you need to set 'manually select source .....)
Do you have a sample ?
    Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I had not seen that 'manually select source' thing.

I think my issue is more with the renderer of subtitles rather than with the splitter.
PGS subtitles which should be over three lines are skipped.
What's frustrating is that before I experimented by switching back to LAV is was working fine with Microsoft. But now it's broken again. In the broken mode it looks like subs fonts are higher like if they were stretched a bit vertically.

Don't have a sample at the ready but if you have Star Wars VI mkv with PGS embedded go to 46mn at the beginning of the dialogue between Luke and Ben and see how some subs don't show up. If they do all show up it means you don't have that problem for some reason. Some subs should then be displayed over 3 lines.
