I did the softwareupdate with a program called phoenix. Now for the first time my mobile phone had lost its old brain. But still no luck to get the Live one going. Gonna tell Nokia that this must be some error in the firmware. What else should it be now.
Just to get it right, the 'No .ts to .mp4 clip .....' should not be marked right ?

optx,

That selection has nothing to do with liveTV service.

That selection only affects so that if you don't want to convert all TS files to mp4. Eg. you want save disk space and use only streaming service. Then PiipTV Download service is not created to provisioning file, since in that case it's useless.

I have a weird problem now... I am using MP 1.0.2. When I'm on LAN everything works nicely but when I stream outside from home I can't get scrambled channels working and MP crashes because of Windows Vista DEP feature... Any help?

tlevis,

sounds really weird, do you have logs?
If you can activate full logging from piiptv advanced settings tab and then reproduce case and eg email me / attach here tv.log i can check that everything is going OK in piiptv side.

Then we need to ask MP developpers that what is going wrong in MP side. Have you already tried ask eg in IRC channel?

OPTX, keep on pushing Nokia care so that we can get some information out about N96 case! Thanks about that!

Hi, here is the TV Server log. Free channels work ok, in both lan and wan. But scrambled only in lan. Hope you can help :(

Sorry, but care looks like a dont care center :( I emailed to 3 centers, none gave me any answer !i!
I found some Sites with detailed changes/improvements made from MCU SW version 12.043 to version 20.050.
Maby something of this could be the problem ?

- Correction for occasional CMLA (Content Management License Administrator)certificate corruption. (These certificates are needed for e.g. Mobile TV and NGage license purchases)
- General Media player & streaming related usability & performance improvements

Just an idea :
Would it be hard for you to make the 'watch' buttons from the webui to be useable for the realplayer ?

optx,

Can you try piiptv version 0.6.3.04 version with your N96, this version is having work around for your problem :)
http://piiptv.japo.fi/download/PiipTvPlugin_0_6_3_04.zip

NOTE:
In advanced settings you need to tick option "show live channels as VOD service, no XMLTV provision"
and then with phone browser you need to click again "provisioning file" -link from web ui.

And in Video Center, options menu there is option "open link in browser" once selecting that you can check "simple WEB UI" and handle recordings & EPG :)

tlevis,

I analysed your log file. Remote end (phone?) sends after 10s request to stop streaming (teardown). So maybe phone is not receiving any packets and sends TEARDOWN because of that (?). I can see that you have two TV-card in PC and setup takes litle bit longer, but probaply that is not root cause. Can you also ensure that you have UDP ports open? that might be one idea how to solve this case...

Can you post me new log fom succeed case and failed case? then i can get better idea about what is happening :)

Hi manniainen

THX for the work around .

Works Wounderfull. (Now ^^) Yesturday night (4 AM lol) i was trying to get it working. The thing was i did not resatrt the TVservice. Installed everything, got 3 Feeds, Tested Live, and WOW. Not exacty the same as before, but real sweet. I like that 'simple WEB UI' feature with the 'instant record button'.Fits the screen perfekt and works perfekt. I just do not see that it is recording when i have opened the MediaPortal - TV Server config. When i start to stream i do see, but dont care about that, it works so it is fine ^^

One little thing that i did not find out : What player is used to sream ? I cant get Landscape mode manualy. I set it up in realplayer, but it is not responding to that. Do i have to setup something in PiipTV ? The only way i get this to Landscape is the inbuid screen rotation software. Can this be done somehow else ?

What is a little bit annoying is when i stop a stream i get always a popup that sounds like "Connection to the Server not possible" , but i could live with that if there is no solution.

All i can say is that you rock !!
