Hi,

is it possible to use FireFox-Plugins like User Agent Switcher (User Agent Switcher)) ?
I more like the "mobile" versions of html-Sites on my TV , so i'm looking for an solution (with UserAgentSwitcher you can tell webSides that you are using an IPhone or something else) .

In my search for a browser that can be controlled by just the arrow keys (a remote), I found that Opera actually does support that very well:
Opera: Tutorial - Use Opera without a mouse

You can just select links by pressing SHIFT + ARROW to go to the nearest hyperlink.
I tried it and it works great! Maybe a plugin can be made for the opera browser, like this plugin is for FireFox.

I found another great thing:
Opera Mobile emulator for desktop - Dev.Opera

Opera mobile for Windows!!! Maybe that is even easier!

I can confirm that it works great with my remote. Now it has to be integrated somehow in MediaPortal..

Any chances to import not only bokkmarks but also password and cookies?

Hi I have a problem. I see no ID links although it is enabled in the options.I use the streamedMP Skin.

I found the problem why I didn't have linkIDs.

BrowseTheWeb needs the HtmlAgilityPack.dll in the version 1.4.0.0. I my case I also installed MyScoreCenter which is using HtmlAgilityPack.dll in version 1.3.0.0.

So check if your HtmlAgilityPack.dll (it's located in the program folder) have the right version.

the setting "zoom factor" of InfoService is not recognized.. any ideas ?

I've done some modifications to use different user agents. and optional use the cursor keys for navigation on the page instead of moving the view.

kroko: can i commit the code? I already have an sf account.

Hi Kroko,

would be possible extend your excelent Browse The Web plugin by call with parameter (see similar idea for another plugin here). It would be very usefull for specific functions there where is need start browser with parameter which is defined as an actual item of the list of the items. I thing possibilities of using will be very much.
