I have uploaded version 0.8a on the first post of this thread. See the first post for change log...

vrm - Thanks for the new skin file, I have added it to the next package. As far as the "Mark All Read" for IMAP, I will look into including that in the next version.

fmulders - Check the new version and see if it helps clear up your issues. Depending on your internet connection, the first check could take up to a minute, so try pushing your checks to 2 minutes and see if that helps with the problem (when I start MP, sometimes it takes up to a minute before the "n Unread Email(s)" message shows up.)

- Refreshed list after "Delete All Pop Messages"
- Fixed bug with Icon disappearing after second message check

Well, first bugfix is OK. I have deleted a POP3 mailbox, created a new one and then I see only the last one's messages.

But if I read a mail and go back to the basichome, there is no icon.

- Fixed bug with Alert Message not updating after messaged read/marked unread.

I like this feature, but if I mark an unread msg as UNREAD by mistake, counter will be increased by one.
Only restart of MP can fix that.

One more minor thing: the mark all as read option doesn't update the counter.

I would test it but the install off last SVN build broke the MPI installer.
vrm: Are you on latest SVN 24669 and do you have the same problem with the installer?
If so, do you have a workaround?

I use 24553. I usually don't follow the SVNs at once.
In your case, you should treat mpe1 as zip

Okay, maybe we should discuss how we want the icon to act I presumed after the first message is read, that the icon would dissapear (even though there maybe other unread messages.) But from what I gather your saying, you would like for the icon to appear until all messages are unread?

This should be a quick fix, all I have to do is check the message status before incrimenting the counter...

Here is the .dll file for 0.8a. I removed the MPI from the first post as I want to work out the issues...

I have an idea. We could have two icons. One for default and an other one for that case when a new mail arrives.

I will look into the two icons, but in the meantime I have posted version 0.9 on the first post that will show the icon until there are no remaining unread messages I also fixed the other two bugs you mentioned earlier.

placed the 08a dll.

It looks fine.
The screen refresh when you delete all emails is working. Even the unread mailcount updates immediatly.

• Can you do the same when you "clear all deleted items"?

This is my idea how the icon and mailcount should act.

Always show mailcount, even when it is "0".
Show icon when mailcount >0.

• One remark: If you delete an unread email the unread count now keeps saying "1" unread mail. And because you do not have any mails to read you can only reset the counter by reboot MP.
