As the Googel Photo becomes more and more powerfull in creating automated Slideshows (like "a day in ..." ) - is it possible to get these to MP too?

Result, it works on the two PC's we use for watching TV :D I've not lost anything by the looks of it either, all channels etc still setup.
Just my office PC won't connect, which I only use for testing things anyway (I tried updating that this morning as well), but I'll uninstall and install fresh on that.

I tried to install MP 1.35 this morning, but I couldn't get any further with the installation on the TV server, see error message...

I'm new to MediaPortal and have a question about searching for data. I have an extensive collection of music, films, and TV...
The reason I was thinking I needed more RAM is that TV now seems to be HiDef and so the files have grown. I edit the files before storing them, to reduce some size. How does the Timezone flag work? What input is it looking for? I went through the source code and all I saw was "America/New_York." I tried "America/Chicago" but still getting GMT times in the xmltv.xml file.

I always have DVB subtitles enabled in "MP Config", but I actually switch on subtitles only for those films that have deafening sound effects and music, combined with inaudible dialogue. I have never noticed the problem that you have described, but I also use the EVR renderer, and not the Madvr renderer. So...
