Does PS++ rely on MePo to send it a resume message/trigger? Or Does PS++ query the OS?
PS++ relies on MP code to detect wakeup or standby events.

Is it possible for TV-client with Powerscheduler to WOL TV-server if TV-connection is lost due to Standby of TV-server? When using other features/plugins in MePo, I often risk powering off the TV-server - And then I cannot wake it again, unless I restart MePo.
I do not really understand why your TV-server goes to standby while your client is active. PS++ should prevent this (if the client plugin is enabled on the remote client and the server plugin is enabled on the TV-server). So the only time the server has to be waked up is when the remote client is started/waked up, but then the WOL is triggered by the MP client.

It doesn't seem to be unfortunately. The TV Server plugin just doesn't show in Server config and the Client plugin causes an error in MP config.
I just tested it with the 1.2.3 test version in the posted link (MediaPortalSetup_1.2.0-226-gcf2d818 (pre_release_1.2.3_testing branch) for TESTING ONLY_2012-03-23-21-25.exe) and everything works fine. I did a Standard Uninstall of the MP 1.2.2 version, then made a new installation of the 1.2.3 test version and (re-)installed PS++ with MPEI. You should not rename / copy the PS / PS++ files manually.

OK, thanks. I thought it would work just copying the two plugins into the respective folders but I'll use the MPEI to install it properly.

EDIT: Just to confirm it's fine after doing a proper MPEI install :)

Hi

I've got a problem with PS++ as you can see from the messages in error.log and Mediaportal.log
"PS: Cannot connect to local tvservice to load settings"
which I don't understand as MP including TV has been working OK

You did not enable the server's PowerScheduler++ plugin...
