I have a multiseat setup with a dedicated tv server and a seperate nas device for My TV Series and Moving pictures content.

Is it possible for the TV Server to only be woken when an MP client goes into My TV, and not be woken/kept awake when the MP client is in My TV Series or Moving Pictures?

What do I have to do to install this on dedicated TV server only system? (1.2RC)
MPEInstaller is not available. Simply rename mpe1 to zip, extract and copy is not useful as there are server and client files inside the mpe1 and I don't know witch files and filenames I have to use. So can you please describe how I can install PS++ 1.1.8.0 on TV Server only system, thanks.

If you unzip it and take a look in MediaPortalExtension.xml you can see which files are supposed to go where.

There is a WOL option for the tv server in the MP config tool (TV - > TVClient), but I do not know if it only wakes up the server when you start using the tv plugin. Anyway, once the tv server is up, PS(++) wont let it suspend until the client is switched off / suspended.

But in general, this is not really an option for average users. There should be either an install.bat (or exe) with PS++ or, much better, mpeinstaller.exe should be come with TV Server also...
This seems to be a important enhancement for future releases of MP..

I agree with you that there should be an installer integrated into the MP server package, too. For the meantime I quickly made a zip with a standalone MPEI for MP 1.2.0 RC. Just unpack it and run MpeInstaller.exe from the unpacked MPEI directory.

i did a clean reinstall of mediaportal 1.2.0 rc and i installed your plugin. i disabled dvb idle epg grabber and set your plugin to "server" with 7 minutes, force standby and extensive logging. I post my log in the enclosure. dont know why it should go into standby at 23.15

Although I don't have the log files yet - my system (V1.2RC on Vista) does not want to reboot at the scheduled time.

The system wakes up ok, but then hibernates again. Then reboots when waking up for the next scheduled recording.

Have it set to try again tomorrow morning without running any batch files.

But my main question is whether some extra wake-up events could be added?

The reason I ask is that I'm trying to find a way to ensure the system is awake for the New Zealand daylight savings changes - Daylight Saving commences on the last Sunday in September, when 2.00am becomes 3.00am, and ends on the first Sunday in April the following year, when 3.00am becomes 2.00am.
