Ah the missing link. Thanks Chemelli. I will try this again another evening this week and see how I go. Appreciate your patience - thanks.

Cheers Mike

Hi Chemelli

I tried SVN Build 16384 and the latest build for both TVEngine and MP but I still cannot get the audio/video from the analog tuner. Reviewing the logs confirms that the tuner has been locked and I see an entry saying "graph is built" but no audio/video is the error message when I try to preview.

Are you using perhaps a software encoder in your setup?

Update:

I take all the above back Chemelli. The crucial bit of information that I did not take good enough notice off was the reference to WinDVR. After locating and installing that, I am now able to watch audio/video output from the Analog tuner on the HVR4000. Whilst I am not able yet to view the analog channels on a client, it works very well watching on the main machine. Now to try recording. Very many thanks for your guidance.

Cheers Mike

Hi, just trying to get Prime (analogue) working on my HVR4000. I've got up to step where I install the WinTV bits and now have the "no audio/video" error. I understand the next step is to install WinDVR? Where do you get this from? Is it the one by Corel or is there a free version available? Thanks

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1

Brief update... Hauppauge support responded quickly, stating that the "driver for all of our product confirm to the BDA format". Not sure what that means, but to test that, I downloaded a copy of Capture4Me, and indeed, it switches LNBs without any issues with minimal configuration (just set DiSEqC to 1.x A/B/C/D and select the...

Well, the log doesn't show any problems. I can see correctly tuned channels in the log. It seems to me that the tuner works fine. Can you copy the created ts file(located in your timeshift folder) somewhere else while in channel preview and try to play it in VLC or MPC-HC? PS: You can also try to make short record

I note that you are using MP2. The following applies to MP1, but I think that MP2 is identical in this situation. "TV Server Config" has a "TV Mapping" panel in the "TV Channels" section. On the "TV Mapping" tab: The left column lists the channels that have not yet been mapped to the TV tuner identified by the drop-down menu just...
