    Have you tried SAF unlocked?
With that one I don't have any issues with Pro7/Sat1

    hey grubi,
thanks for this suggestion, but I want to keep my system under "my" control ;)
And for sure, I won't use SAF *unlocked*... If I wanted this, I would buy me the PDVD myself...

Don't get me wrong, everybody can decide on its own, but I think if someone wants to use a commercial codec he should buy it.

    @disaster123:
thanks for the info. I took a look in the tsreader and there was something with missing frames... (don't know what exactly what was logged by heart)

There was a thread about testing different dll for low end HD playback and dll 2 was chosen to freezed to svn. Well latest tweaks are all bad for me. Average fps is 38. I took that dll form last june and now i have full 50 fps again. i have dont drop frames enabled.

Im sorry i did not take part that test as i did not have time. This
    FYI for devs.

    regards.

just wanted to let you know, that this is the result of my testing with SAT.1 and dshowhelper #2 and MS Codec. (I have SVN 25012 installed)

I just press "pause" for 1-2 seconds (i know, this is not a solution, but the easiest way, to get rid of this)

    hey guys,

I'm looking around to get this MS Codecs running bit better... I don't exactly know, how to use these information I found, but perhaps someone could say no/yes :)

    AVDecVideoDropPicWithMissingRef Property (Windows)

This is a property of the MS DTV/DVD Codec. Where do I have to use this? How can I trigger it?

This is a property of the COM Interface ICodecApi so you have to set this property via code after building the graph.
No way to do this without coding and changing MP sourcecode.

not exactly what I wanted to hear, but what I expected... damn

is there no possibility to get it "easy" implemented to trigger it? (something like a workaround/hack, just for trying)

So, I found a new problem now.

Every few seconds/minutes there is a stutter without a frame drop. The green line on the graph climbs, then drops. When this happens there is a stutter.

All process plugins are disabled and running the latest svn.

This happens with all 4 DLLs as well.

Some media does not produce this bug, some media produces it faster than others. I can't find any correlation. Even low resolution 24p footage does this.

Also, watching 25p @ 50hz seems to have a constant stutter as well (very small) without any dropped frames listed. I only noticed it while watching the lines move across the screen with the graph up. It has the same behavior with the graph down as well, only its harder to see.

There is nothing in the logs when any of this happens.
