Could someone please confirm the process for updating an existing install of StreamedMP?

Just run the installer again and you'll be able to 'Modify' (or upgrade with) an existing install.

Is that recommended over updating via MP Config > Plugins > StreamedMP > Update?
I'd suggest to use the option you already found. Normally when there is an update, you will be notified on you homescreen that there is an update available. You can then either update from inside MP GUI (by following the Blue arrow to the update button) or you can do it manually from the Config section which you referred to.

Another option is to download the new installer package (when an update is available on the forum) and simply run that. Running the installer package of an already installed StreamedMP installaten, will give you the option to modify the existing install of StreamedMP.

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

I don't know how others run it or have acquired the zap2xml stuff but the instructions I gave apply to anything. It is one line in the zap2xml.pl script that you need to change. I run on Linux so I simply run the script itself (and once you change that on the next run it will be fine.) I do not know anything about a Windows...
