Hi folks,
PureVisionHD 1080 5.3 is on it´s way
There was a lot of bugfixing and re-design to make this skin even better, especially as it will permanently replace the PVHD 1366x768 skin
Here some appetizers:

• Fanart is now much brighter (with respective overlays)
• New styled OSD progress bars with nicely rounded edges
• Completely new styled Weather screen for a maximum of information
• Added theme "Fanart on BasicHome" where you can see random fanart from Videos, TVSeries, MovingPictures and Showtimes when accessing the respective menu item. If you like it, I will present fanart as standard on the BasicHome screens
• New background for Blue and Metro

Hi catavolt

Is there any chance of you including a "no animated curtains or fade in" Theme with your future releases for people like me who don't like waiting?

I wouldn't mind editing it myself each time but there's quite a few files to remove the animated curtains from and I don't know how to disable the fade-in yet, so it would probably be quicker/easier for you to do

Well, I could completely remove the curtain stuff, but I think a lot of users still like it?
What do others think about the "curtain issue"?

Thanks catavolt. I appreciate you must have spent a fair bit of time implementing the curtains in the first place so it's very decent of you to agree to remove them

My Dad insisted on having a similar curtain effect when he developed his website (he works in AV) and I tried to tell him that people would get irritated having to wait for the curtains each time they visted the website but he's quite stubborn and wouldn't change it
