Purevision default is my favorite skin. The only thing I can't understand is why Classic home screen picture is static showing same Plugins.jpg image no matter what is selected on the left? Why can't it be done like Basic home where the TV screen actually reflects the selection (TV, Videos, Music, Pictures)?

In Classic Home only the hover images can be shown (as they are on the top left TV screen).
As these hover images do not have a sufficient resolution for 1920x1080, I don´t show them full screen ;)

    Hi catavolt,
is there a chance to get the info of the Drive free space plugin as overlay. I wanna know how much disc space I have free on both of my harddisks?

catavolt: Let me try to explain again using the attached screenshots.
Basic music, basic videos, classic music and classic videos have pretty much similar layout and background. The top left hover images are similar and change depending on your selection in both: classic and basic.

But in basic the background image also changes nicely to reflect your selection.
    basic music.jpg basic videos.jpg

In classic it is same 3-prong plug picture (your Plugins.jpg) no matter what you do.
    classic music.jpg classic videos.jpg

What I proposed is something like this for classic (I just used image editor):
    classic videos-proposed.jpg classic music-proposed.jpg

I hope it can be done easily because it already works for basic.

In Classic Home only the hover images can be shown (as they are on the top left TV screen).
As these hover images do not have a sufficient resolution for 1920x1080, I don´t show them full screen ;)

    Hi.
I hope it can be done easily because it already works for basic.
It's not easy, it's impossible. To get what you want you need to completely rewrite the core code of MediaPortal... If you are really good in programming C# you can try it, good luck...
There is technically no way to change the background image depending on selected menu entries in Classic Home. This only is possible in Basic Home and the main reason why most skins customizes Basic Home and ignoring Classic Home...

    I see, sorry, I didn't know.
Maybe exploding the top left "hover on image" and moving it on top of the tv scren, but, I guess, it would be too much to ask...
I could probably modify the xml file myself if you tell me what file and location is responsible for that little image on the left top.

    Hi.
No need to be sorry ;)
Theoretically you can do what you want but this could have impact on all other screens as well. You can not make the size of the hoover png files too big as this slows down MP too much. And if you leave them as they are and blow them up on classic home so much makes them look ugly.
If you want to try it nevertheless you need to edit three xml files.
Best to create a new theme first. Make a new dir inside "Themes Folder, name it as you like. Then create a sub-dir inside this new Folder named "Media". Then copy the file themes.xml from any other Theme to the new folder and preview.png from PureVisionHD 1080/Media folder to your new Media folder. Now you've created a new Theme. This is if you use Skin Default theme. If not, copy the content of the whole Themes folder to your new Themes folder.
Then make a copy of common.window.xml with a different name (e.g. common.window1.xml) and put it inside your new theme folder. And you need to copy MyHome.xml and MyHomePlugins.xml to your new folder if they aren't there already. Keep those names untouched otherwise it won't work at all! On both MyHome.xml and MyHomePlugins.xml look for a line "<import>common.window.xml</import>" This you change to the name of your copy of common.window.xml (in example this will be "<import>common.window1.xml</import>") Then you need to edit this common.window1.xml. Inside this the last two controls are generating the hoovers. There you can change size and position but not the images themselves...
