Once more, you must have MP0.1.1.1 PLUS CVS 12.04. AND PVR1.1.6:

So, back to my RESULTS:
All sort of programming could be done in MP/TV-EPG_GUI OR MP/PVRS-EPG_GUI

Once -> REC OK!
Daily -> REC OK!
Mo -till- Fr -> REC OK!
same day every week -> REC OK!

When I go to that site and try to download it I get the following:

It works here on my computer. Can you please take a look into your pvrscheduler.log?
I guess that you installed with full MP support and you don't use the latest CVS?
I am using a clean install of 0.1.1.1 (no extra CVS). I have 2 reoccurring schedules aleady set-up in MP. I then installed PVRS 1.1.6 with full MP support. My MP is in the default directory.

I open the PVR standalone application and there are no scheduled recordings shown. I go to the PVR plugin in MP and there are no scheduled recordings shown. If I go to My TV the scheduled recordings are shown as normal.

The PVRS log file is empty.

Is this how it is meant to work ?

    Thanks DOit, I meant to say PVRScheduler but got mixed up :)

    AllenC, I have the same set up as you, latest MP download with no extra CVS and default install locations and my shows are imported from MP to PVRS ok, except that recurring shows sceduled for the same show rather than the same time period are only able to show up as a single occurrance. I haven't been using the apps long enough to work out if the show is imported "once" for each instance.

    I'm using PVRS 1.1.5 but will install the latest when I get back home...

    How can I do a completely clean install of PVRS? When I reinstall it seems to keep settings from the previous installation. I want to make sure I've not accidentally set something that is making it fail ?

    Do you need to set-up all the channels from MP to PVRS for it to work properly ? These don't get imported either. The only option for importing seems to be from a .ini file, not the MP channel database.

    When I click on "Delete all channels and import from MP database" it works for me. The channels that are currently displayed vanish and all the ones in MP appear.

    The only thing that seems like it still needs to be fixed from my point of view is the handling of re-occuring recordings.

    It works great with one offs, dailys and weeklys but when a program is set for "every time on this channel" it only picks up the first time and then ignors it from then on. Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem?

    Keep up the great work, I love the way these two programs work together so well (apart from that one thing ;-) )

    This is not supported yet, because it's not that easy to implement that.

    I'm writing a new FAQ how to get MediaPortal working with PVR Scheduler
    Take a look on the new homepage http://www.pvr-scheduler.de
    It's not finished yet.

    That was me before (as guest) I forgot to log in.

    I didn't think it would be too hard to implement the recording of shows if PVR scheduler imports schedules from MP. We are not asking to implement this feature in PVR Sched, just recognising the shows from MP.

    Don't get me wrong, I think this add on is great and I can't say this enough. I just don't get the problem with this aspect. Then again, I'm not a programmer so I am looking at this froim a very simple angle :)

    Thanks for the "How To" as well. I had figured out most of it by now, but this did clear up a few further questions.

    Once again, Great work...
