I have a iPhone and I often watch movies with it. I'm looking for a player that can collect movie info online when I put movie files in my media library. Could you help me?

Recommend two players, you should try VidOn player and VLC player, they support to collect movie info online when you put movie files in your media library. Hope this helps.

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck? Preferable with as much disabled as possible also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything) maybe other programs competing for resouces?
