Receiving all channel (2 Viewers)

Hello,

Media Portal doesn't find all cable channels. There are 37 channels, but Media Portal finds 29 channels.
And how can I tune to a good frequency, because some channels are not good. Thank you.

which mediaportal version?
which tv-card?
and where are the logs from such a scan where we could see what happened?

general advice: rerun scan 3 times. sometimes this helps to get "all" channels.
on dvb-c its also possible that simply the frequence of the missing channels is missing in the dvbc.xml file.
