Aah, will have a look whether we can put a red dot in video OSD, too - as still a lot of properties are hardcoded in that area, I have to try it out

Finally found the culprit in DWHD: The GFX referenced in TVOSD.xml for the red dot must be "rec.png" and not "recording.png" Dpn´t know how this could happen

What will be your approach ?
Same as some others skins or, put red dot in all video OSD in all case when at least, one channel is recorded ?
An improvement would be to put number of channels recorded next to red dot but, this suppose surely C# code modification.

Well, unfortunately encountered some "bugs" in skin engine
First of all we have no property for an ongoing recording - #player.recording is not implemented.
Second: The properties #TV.RecordedTV.Channel, #TV.RecordedTV.Time, and #TV.RecordedTV.Genre are only populated (and have the appropiate values) when/after opening the TV Recordings screen (mytvrecordedtv.xml).
Therefore we cannot check whether #TV.RecordedTV.Channel has a value (or is empty) in the OSDs.
This leads to the fact that at the moment we cannot display any TV recording information within the OSDs (except in TVOSD.xml and tvZAPOSD.xml).
Even in the TV Pause OSD it is not foreseen to put a red dot
So would it be worth to change this behaviour? Devs please
