Apologies for the rather noob question. What is the best way to remote schedule programmes for the TV service?

There used to be a plugin called "Email Scheduler" but that is no longer maintained. :-(
AFAIK the only other option is remotely logging in using something like Window's own RDP, VNC, LogMein or similar. Not ideal I know.
