Hi all,

I have tried getting the above card to work. For some reason the configuration utility crashes when i do a channel scan. Has anyone got any ideas for me to try? the card uses a philips SAA7130 chipset.

:DI got the same card but mine wont even show up under detected devices

TV-Server Version: Idk
MediaPortal Version: Newest I guess
MediaPortal Skin: Default
Windows Version: Ultimate SP1
CPU Type: Intel Dual Core 2ghz
HDD: 500gb Western Digital Sata
Memory: 2gb ddr2
Motherboard: not sure its an HP
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8600 Gs 512mb
Video Card Driver: Nvidia Corp (not windows)
Sound Card: Realtek Built in Hi-def 7.1 Digital Audio
Sound Card AC3: no Coax, no Opt. AC3 installed
Sound Card Driver: Realtek's Hidef Driver (not windows)

Same problem here

Same Card, same problem with the card not showing up under detected devices. the only thing there is my computer name and i try to click on it and it does nothing. So far this is the only approximate match to my problem.
Could really use some help here newbie at work.

Same Card Same Problem

I have the same tuner card and the configuration doesn't find it, kinda sucks since under supported card it says philips. I went thru the capturecarddefinitions xml file and the tvtuner chipset (SAA7130) is in there, yet i have no idea why it isnt working.... depression since so far everything else has worked fine.
