hoborg, please remove the Cyberlink property software (CLNavX.ax & CLVsd.ax). You aren't allowed to distribute copyrighted software in Mediaportal forums.

Are you sure about that? These versions are from free versions of PowerDVD...

A trial version that exprires in 30 days. Filters itself doesnt have any protection agains their use after 30 days, but the license clearly says that you are FREE to evaluate the software for 30 days.

Also its highly unlikely that you (or any other) are allowed to distribute modified Cyberlink software (as that what it is when you are removing most of the binaries and only distributing 2x .ax files).

I just checked the video filter folder and it contains two text files that say:

"Cyberlink H.264 video decoder is a software work uses open-source PThread
library (namely PThreadVC2.dll) which is under LGPL (GNU Lesser General Public
    License).

    0. This license file only deals with license of PThread library, not including
the license of other parts of Cyberlink H.264 video decoder.

    1. The PThread library is available at POSIX Threads (pthreads) for Win32

    2. One copy of LGPL is provided below, to the end of this file. It is also
    available at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lesser.html""

There are no other files relating to copyright but I assume that is basically indicating that everything except pthreadvc2.dll is copyrighted?

Well, this looks like and end of SAF...

Why not replace the Cyberlink stuff with the latest builds of ffdshow that can do mpeg2 and interlaced h.264 TV - see builds here. Maybe you could then set it up so it will use MPC for stuff that can use DXVA and ffdshow for stuff that can't?

Main problem is DVD navigator. Microsoft include DVD navigator inside OS, but this navigator are not working correctly. And i didnt found any free DVD navigator alternative. So i choose PowerDVD navigator + PowerDVD MPEG2 decoder. This combination is working perfectly in MP. I don't believe there is free working solution...

Can you explain what kind of problems you are seeing with the navigator (qdvd.dll)? On most of my discs it seems to work but on a few it doesn't jump straight to the main menu after going through the copyright warnings and splash screens- I can fix this (on MPC-HC) by going to Navigate>Jump To>Title 1.

I also found this thread on doom9 that suggests maybe activating the ffdshow subtitle filter solves some problems with qdvd?

Some DVD's navigation simply doent's work when using MS DVD navigator. I have few such DVD's.

SAF v.2.50 out - Another big update:

    • [*]Replaced MS Avi splitter by AviSplitter.ax - this will allow avi + subtitles in MP (remember to disable AVI support under Haali and subtitles must have same name as *.avi = if you have video123.avi, subtitles must be named as video123.srt, video123.sub,...etc)
[*]Replaced MS MPEG2 splitter by MpegSplitter.ax - this fix no sound in MPEG2 recodrings - but there seems to be limit around ~10GB/MPEG file
      [*]PDVD navigator&MPEG decoder updated
[*]Subtitles position optimised for 16:9 TVs
[*]You can now choose Yellow/White subtitles color durning SAF install
[*]You can now enable/disable MKV subtitles durning SAF install
      [*]Filters updated to latest SVN
[*]By little trick you can configure audio filter inside MediaPortal now!
