In Vista MS DVD Navigator + MS MPEG2 codec combination works perfectly with every single DVD I have tested, where as MS DVD Navigator and Cyberlink MPEG2 codec doesn't. This is the reason why MP config also warns about mixing navigators and codecs.

So is there any free working combination of MPEG2 codec + navigator that works consistently in XP that you know of?

Got this working perfectly in my system for hardware acceleration of H264 movies. I have a suggestion though: Would it be possible for the installation to give you the option of which codecs to install (all selected by default)? Personally I don't use MPA Audio, I'm using AC3filter, so for me it would be nice to not install MPA.

AC3 filter failed to render audio from my Camcorder, MPA is working perfectly (so i will be prefering 100% solution)
I think you could use SAF + AC3 filter combination.

Or do you have any special reason to use AC3 filter?

So the thread is back online but we had to remove the downloadlink and some other links to unallowed software.

hoborg will work on a new release of this helper without copyrighted material.

v.3.00 - Removed Cyberlink stuff, added MPEG2 decoder (you can configure it directly inside MP configuration).

I found another problem: When watching TV and selecting a ac3-soundstream of a channel there is NO sound. Switching back to "normal" audiostream and there is sound again... I set MPA in MP to SPDIF.

Any hints ? Is this perhaps also a tsreader problem ?
