If yes please post it in to this "bug" report here:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-0-rc3-svn-builds-288/1px-border-around-video-47773/

This issue is realy ugly and if more people report it, there is a bigger hope it will be fixed.
Thanks.

I was wondering about this little trick - are you referring to configuring the MPC Audio Decoder(~= MPA) within mediaportal? I like to know the trick as I use a codec setup i control myself similar to what SAF is setting up but the MPA configuration isn't showing up (i removed the original MPA and replaced it with MPC Audio Decoder.)

You need to modify registry. Check PM.

Some DVD's navigation simply doent's work when using MS DVD navigator. I have few such DVD's.

Actually its not the DVD navigator where the issue comes. The issue is coming from the fact that DVD navigators doesnt seem to be compatible with different MPEG2 codecs that they have intend to be working.

So you shouldnt be mixing DVD navigator with different MPEG2 codecs. Cyberlink one should be used with Cyberlink mpeg2 codec. Same goes with the MS DVD Navigator, it should be used only with MS MPEG2 code (wich is only available in the Vista).

In Vista MS DVD Navigator + MS MPEG2 codec combination works perfectly with every single DVD I have tested, where as MS DVD Navigator and Cyberlink MPEG2 codec doesn't. This is the reason why MP config also warns about mixing navigators and codecs.

Well, that is not true in my case. I have two DVD's, witch is not working on Vista too, but working under Power DVD.

removed old SAF and installed the new one. something went wrong in removing 2.3 and adding 2.5, but an uninstall, reboot and reinstall fixed it. Awesome!
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication! Now that I figured out how to remove subs and re-encode I'm on my way to a perfect HTPC. now if only I could get my HDTV wonder card working in MP. That's another project. :)
