Hoborg first thank for this program.
I used this codec to lee time you attempt to update and I am not,

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

This might have nothing to do with SAF, but I've got a problem that only seems to appear when LiveTV is playing on my second display (TV), namely that when scrolling in IE the page get's corrupted, as shown here:
corruptedie.gif

I thought it might be something to do with the Cyberlink decoder, so I tried changing the TV MPEG-2 decoder to Dscaler, ffdshow and MPC-HC but they all resulted in a static picture like this, whilst the audio continued normally:
corruptedlivetv.gif

Note, this is with Cat 9.8, MP SVN 23684 and SAF 3.47 (my previous message related to my other XP partition as I've got a dual-boot).

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Is MPCHC included for any specific reason?

Because I already have it installed, and every time I install SAF, mpchc in saf takes over as default, and changes all my settings.

Also because of this, every time time SAF is updated, it also resets all mpchc settings.

So can you include an option to install mpchc or not, or if it is for special purpose to include in saf, somehow not be set as default and erase already installed mpchc settings?

thanks.

Bulletpoints on CoreAVC 2.0
-------------------------------
- First on Windows 7..... Both CoreAVC and Haali's splitter now use a custom fourcc so that when you play an MKV video it uses Directshow instead of MediaFoundation in WMP and MC. No hacks and its a simple solution to gets ppl out of the pitfalls of MF. Note that this is ONLY for .mkv and does not affect any other container.
- You will also see CoreAVC now supports both 32/64bit, but like Haali we have opted to keep both .AX's in the same folder for simplicity's sake.
- We would also like to thank Clsid for his help with some of the changes we made to the installer for all OS's but mostly Win7.

spdif not working

Hi

Using the newest SAF enabling the spdif output at install equals no sound.

System:
Win XP
AMD 780G
Ati 9.8
latest MP

Here is the settings in ffdshow audio and MP (pic 1,2,3). So according to post #1 everything should be set up correctly. (The last version I was using worked fine, think it was beta 21).

Picture 4 is what happens when I play back a file with DTS sound, suddenly DTS is disabled in ffdshow???

Picture 5 is the Graph

Please give a man some advice :)

EDIT:

Just reverted to beta21 and everything works great. The only thing that is different in the pics is pic 4 where the DTS have been disabled somehow in beta22test4. In beta21 DTS does not get deselected and spdif pass-through works :)

Ok
well hopefully someone has a solution to this, in the meanwhile I'm sticking to the beta21.
