Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Hi all,

i've got a problem with playing a .ts file yesterday. If i start it in MP, nothing happens. If i start it manually with MPC-HC i got a message that there is a problem with subtitles in the file ???
Then i can click close and the movie starts but has lost of artefacts while playing.

I've searched this thread and found something about a subtitle patch. Do i have to use this?

I use MP 1.1beta and SAF 4.00beta.

Thanks a lot
Henric

Rename *.TS to *.M2TS or mux to MKV

That worked for me, thank you. Do i have to understand this? Why does MPC play hte m2ts file but not the ts one?

Becouse *.TS files are handled by MediaPortal ts reader.

I'm having some issues playing some .avi files. Most are fine, but on some the sound is absent. According to Mediainfo there is no difference between audio tracks in the ones that work and the ones that don't work. Atleast not as far as I can see. I already tried installing the latest beta but that didn't work.

My graph:

Sample please...

What software can I best use to create a sample?

Hi Hoborg,

Never had any issue with your codec pack that I am using since the very first version!

Today I am with SAF 4.00, and trying to play a divx music video: impossible!
I finally could open the file with vlc and saw that the codec is DX50.

Of course, I can download it from internet but as I want to keep my installation clean, I need your advise before doing something wrong: may I download it or will it be included into SAF or what else (convert the file, etc...)

:D

No problem to play it here.

Is that an AVI file? If yes, rename to *.divx or mux to MKV and try again.
