    Hi!
Does the v3.20 only works with latest SVN or is it only important for the subtitles?
    thx
    Daniel

btw. You've done great work with SAF! ;)

New version of Haali Media Splitter out (11.01.2009)!

Everybody should update: Haali Media Splitter

EDIT: New SAF will be released soon. FLAC in MKV is now supported!

    Thanks for the heads up!

Just tried the new Haali, and I've noticed that Apple movies in My Trailers seems to be broken. It may just be me though, can anyone confirm?

Scrap that, it's working fine now. Not sure what I did differently!

    Hi Holborg,

I extracted PowerDVD8 as you prefectly explain in your first post. I attached it here so that you can check if it is working because for me it doesn't work (bad image quality) . Everything is fine with SAF2.50 (and powerDVD7).

Another thing: with SAF, I cannot read m4a video files (podcast). I attached one of these files here. Is it possible to do something?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello.
Can you write more about bad image quality - what exactly it wrong? You filter file are OK.
Check with Graphstudio, if PowerDVD8 filter are trully in use.

Please, remove PowerDVD8 filter from your post, thank you.

Well, MPC-HC player only play an audio from your m4a example, are you sure there are video too? Isn't m4a audio only format? I am not sure about that...

    How may I check this?
I've configured everything such as you show in your screenshots.

When I look with GraphStudio there is everything same to your screenshots but I always wonder about that mpcvideodec.ax is in use and not clvsd.ax

Clvsd.ax filter is for MPEG2 (Live TV, DVD's) only.

    Hi Holborg,

I confirm you that the attachment I sent you in my previous post contains sound+video. I tested it again: I extracted the zip (rar) file and after that I could perfectly read it with vlc player.

Concerning the bad quality: very bad colours (no black but grey, so no contrast ) and for some .VOB files (recorded in my hard drive) flickering images. Everything works very well with SAF 2.5 (except the m4a files)

But is it important to update SAF 2.5 to the latest version?

    Thanks!

Okay! So everything else like xvid for example will use mpcvideodec.ax right?

What about hdvideosfiles (h.264 or vc-1) and of course dxva?

What graphic card do you have? nVidia/ATI? What Drivers version? You should specify your system setup in User CP.

Sorry, but m4a video is not supported by MPC-HC player yet, so no support in SAF.
