Not sure how far we go with this, just so we are all straight about your issue, you cannot chose CoreAVC under MP config\video player settings, or you can and it just does not use, are these files you are trying to play definitely h.264\x.264\AVC1 and not just avi files (DX50 normally) in mkv container, because if they are the CoreAVC does not play them, and they will default to MPC codec.

    Hi.
As you can see, first graph is wrong. There are two MPEG2 decoders in use (double decoding).
    MPC + cyberling.
    You need to remove/unregister one.

Would it be enough to remove it form MP control panel? Or should I uninstall somehow this codec from windows?

You'll need to decide which one you want to use and unregister the other. Even if you select the other in MP it'll still show up on your graph. If using winxp, you can go to cmd line and type "regsvr32 /u filename", replace filename with the file you want to unregister, like mpcdec.ax or whatever. Hope that helps!

Make sure you have not enabled any postprocessing in MP config, that may force both codecs to be used.

I have both codecs installed and there is no problem with them clashing.

It looks like I'm on the right way now :) I promise to become "donator" if I'll manage to play TV on my laptop with MP (btw I didn't found anything else better yet - even commercial: "Quickplayer" (which is pre-installed to my laptop by HP) doesn't find any channels for my region at all, MediaPlayer - doesn't as well... Only MediaPortal found all dvb-t channels on air when I've searched for them for my region (Lithuania/Vilnius) :) - the only issue is codecs... Isn't possible to load all needed codecs into MP it self and make it use only these?)

BTW - SVN is not plugin, it is beta version of new MP1.0.1 :)
I know pretty well what SVN is (iam software developer myself - for multible linux- and university-projects).
This is how i see it:
Your plugin is not an extension of the current stable of MP, but the svn. So its not stable itself, because it depents on untested features of MP (svn is not always beta, but untested - so not even alpha).

Ive tested 3.30, but my overlayproblems still remain :(

You are using overlay renderer? I didnt think so. Try to connect graphstudio and post graph here.

ive already done that, connecting works, but i do not get a graph there.
Is there anything i can do wrong? Ive registered the mentioned dll, started Mediaportal windowed, started playing a dvd, started the graphstudio and connected it to the only listed app in the list (which should be the right one because it disappeared when i closed MP).

In MP setup there is no "MPC - MPA Decoder Filter" for audio decoder but only "MPA Decoder Filter". Oh, and i have installed powerdvd 9 codec...

If you are on XP an you cannot connect Graphstudio, there are something wrong with your system. Please post your LOGs.

I dont know if connecting fails... graphstudio seems to be connected (i can disconnect anyway), but it shows no graph.

As there are no logs to get from graphstudio i think you are talking about MP logs. Ive attached them (stated MP, played Movie, connected graphstudio, quit everything).
