hello,
hmmm, seems like Cyberlink "CLVsd.ax" is taken out of the SAf package. I try to keep track of new postings and new versions of SAF in this forum, but this change just went unnoticed by me untill recently... You probably had your reasons, Hoborg, but it wuld be nice to know what has replaced PVDV9. On my setup it seemed like the best working codec ; -probably not the most flexible, but especially for TV and HD content it worked like a charm.
In any case, it might be the screencaps on the first page could use an update, just to visualize the setup in Mediaportal that actually matches the contents of the package, cause I am a bit confused which coded to use for what content now...
Another thing, somehow, I have the impression that he former AC3-filter had a better sound all in all when it comes to making 5.1 sound out of stereo sources, in additon to have a neat compression function that is quite useful for us having small babies sleeping in the next room ;-) Would a separate AC3-filter installation interfere with the rest of the codes in SAF, especially when it comes to DXVA?
thanks again for the great work your doing, Hoborg!
best regards, tommeltott

test2:
- ALL - removed PDVD9 MPEG2 and h.264 filters *unlocked* SAF only
- ALL - added CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD9) *unlocked* SAF only
Any help?
If I need to provide some more info, pls tell me what and how to get it since I'm not very good with it.
Thanks.
Hello!
My Problem is that I can't get flv streams to work. I use OnlineVideos and when trying to play a vid of Youtube, only a message box pops up "can't play Get_Video?blabla". All my movies (avi, xvid, mkv) and LiveTV work fine, I can even play saved .flvs with Windows Media Player, but the streams don't work. They worked some months ago... don't know what happend.
I use latest MP-SVN, X-Factor as skin, WinXP SP3 with all updates. System: Athlon64 3000+, 1 GB Ram, Ati Radeon HD4670 with Catalyst 9.12
My log files are attached, thx for any hint!
2010-01-24 17:34:50.656250 [Debug][MPMain]: Remove filter from graph: ffdshow DXVA Video Decoder
Hello,
yes, I installed latest ffdshow beta last week, which includes the DXVA Decoder, but it isn't enabled. Anyway the decoder should just work on h264 stuff?
