Or in ATI CCC panel go to VIDEO tab "All", there you see a section named "basic quality". Untick automatic deinterlacing and set it to the level you like it with the slider. The most right option is "vector adaptive". If your hardware can handle it, it produces the best quality.

ah.. cr*p... Just read you own a NVidia card... I think finding CCC controle panel will be difficult. Sorry for throwing you off like this. I dont know if there are similar settings in the nvidia controle panel.
