Ok I think I jumped to gun there, when I said it was all working fine. I am able to get the plugin to login and download the guide... but the problem is, it's missing like 3/4 the channels. Here is my TV.log but it doesn't seem to say much. It looks like it found all 60 channels, but when I go to the guide, only about 12 have listings.

http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/pastebin.php?show=13030

Are you saying you have all the channels but only 12 have listing data?

Using my very crude math, 22000 programs sounds about right for the
time period in your log for 60 channels.
Can you look forward a few hours in the EPG to see if the data shows up?
Can you see if there are approx 22000 programs in the database?

I don't know how the happened but somehow something added channels all thought my list. I have like 400 channels but only 60 of them are analog. I also have groups set up.. when I went into my DVB channels, I found them. I cleaned them all up and ran the plugin again.... sorry for all the trouble I have caused today.

    Keep up the good work!

Price Lowered, Memberships Extended and Google Checkout
by rmeden on Thu Sep 20, 2007 11:28 pm

We have reached our goal and have lowered the membership fee to $20/year!

For existing members, we're in the process of adjusting expiration dates for an additional 3 months ($15/9 months)

In addition, Google Checkout is now an available payment method.

We'd like to thank everyone for allowing us to reach our price target!

Does anyone have the TVE3 1.0d version of this working with the 9-22 SVN build of MP/TVE3?
I have tried lots of settings, and I have cleared and re-auto-tuned my PVR-500 tuners at least a dozen times (before updating EPG of course) but I keep getting the following error:

    9/22/2007 11:40:32 AM 5 Processing lineup Comcast [id=*******:X type=CableDigital postcode=*****]
9/22/2007 11:40:33 AM 5 System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

at SchedulesDirect.Import.EpgListingsImporter.FindTVChannel(TVStation station, TVStationMap map, Boolean LineupIsLocalBroadcast)
    at SchedulesDirect.Import.EpgListingsImporter.ImportChannels(Int32 delay)
    at SchedulesDirect.Plugin.SchedulesDirectPluginTVE3.RunEpgImport()
    at SchedulesDirect.Plugin.SchedulesDirectPluginTVE3.RefreshEPG(Object state)
    9/22/2007 11:40:33 AM 5 Scheduling next poll for 9/23/2007 10:23:32 AM
9/22/2007 11:40:33 AM 5 Unable to process any channels, have you done an autotune in setup?

Update: I also tried TVE3 builds for 9-20 and 9-15, same exact issue.
    Update2: Got it to work using TVEngine3 Snapshot: 09-08-2007 01-21h Revision 15792.

    Running:
    - MP 0.2.3RC2 + CVS 9-20-2007--01-02-Rev15972 installed from scratch
    - TVE3 09-20-2007--17-34h--Rev15980
Copied the v1.0d to the process directory. But as soon as I start config I started getting a lot of errors:
"Failed to locate assembly 'Setup Controls, version .....'
Note that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in the MediaPortla folder, the execution will end now"

I get a bunch of these errors and config does not start. I remove the plugin and all is well.

I tried this plugin a little while ago with different version and moved away from TVE3 again, because I ran into the same problems..

    Any suggestions welcome!

I am getting the exact same error with Rev15854. I dunno, I have a suspicion that it might be a Vista thing because of the c:\users\all users\team mediaportal\.... having a different location for config files. Any other ideas?

    Hi,

I am a little confused on what TV engine you are using.
With TVE3 version you place the plugin dll file in the "Plugins" folder
in the TVServer folder not the process folder.

Based on your post and Lysdexical's post I will try it with a recent SVN
and let you know what I can find out though.

If I missed something, I'm osrry, but is there anything I need to do to get the EPG retrieval scheduled? I know with xmltv, I had a batch file on a scheduler to go out and get the data, is there anything like that needed for schedules direct?

Aaaaaand THANK YOU patrick, for your great work!

    Hi thinksnow,

    Thanks!

Nothing to do, as long as MP is running it schedules itself and should run daily.
It will request a suggested time from the service (for load balancing) but defaults
to 24 hours (and will not wait longer than 24 hours).

    HTH,
    patrick

I missed the fact in the manual that it goes in the Plugin dir of the TVE3. So if you put it in the Plugin/Process dir of main MP you get this error. Maybe an idea to clarify it a bit in the instruction (I will re-read as well, maybe I'm just blind)

    Tx!
