screen saver activating during playback? (1 Viewer)

Which screensaver as we talking about, because the windows one needs to be deactivated.

I was referring to the Windows screen saver. I have a multi monitor setup. If I disable the "turn off the display" setting in Windows, how could the screens that are not used by MediaPortal be turned off automatically? I suppose I could set it to turn off the displays after a long time such as 3 hours to cover the length of videos, but that's not optimal if I play a shorter clips in MediaPortal then leave the computer alone.

My experience suggests that this is not the case, at least on my computer.

I'd also like the screen saver to be enabled as usual only when MediaPortal is not playing video. Since this doesn't appear to be an option now, is it alright if I post this in the Improvement Suggestions forum?

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...
Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
