    I want SAP ASAP! :)
What are your programming skills like? This is an open source project, so you are very welcome to add it yourself....

Hey danfg, I think I was wrong in my second statement and it seems SAP is supported by some software (BeyondTV, mythtv...). So you should post a feature request maybe with some kind of information.
Great! Thanks for looking that up for me Molokoids! Now I can make a stronger case for this request.

I think it's not too common in Europe cause we either sub or dub movies.
Subbing I can understand, but when you dub, I always figured the broadcaster should provide SAP for those people who want to hear the original audio. I mean, it's what SAP is mostly meant for, but I guess you understood that already by now.

You're right, sorry if I came out as a demanding person. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful to the MP team and community for this great piece of software! My programming skills lean towards web-related stuff, so I'm not sure I could help developing Windows software.

I will post a feature request though, it's the least I can do. Thanks a lot you guys! :)

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

After many hours of troubleshooting I've given up and accepted that it's just "one of these things" when using madVR for watching live TV. I've now ticked the box to "Use EVR for LiveTV", with a default display refresh rate of 50Hz. In combination with tweaking some of the Nvidia 3D settings for the MP executable only, I now have a...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
