Next job: I am trying to get a mac to act as client. I've got the VLC plugin installed on the Intel Mac. If I click on the streaming button on the web page in Safari on the Mac, the server starts streaming, and the VLC screen appears on the mac but no video loads. The plugin isn't quite the same version as the server VLC, so maybe that's it. I am assuming that the use of standard streaming protocols should insulate the application from the underlying computer platform differences.
