you can program a remote control button to do so.

I did use the 'radio button' because I don't use tge radio section.

thanks+regards

thank you guys,

the problem is that sometimes i want to hibernate my machine (and my tv is off this time, so i can´t see the mp menus). i tried to use the windows shutdown.exe with my remote (VLsystems mPlay) but it can´t use it.

now i found a solution to hibernate directly through a hibernate.exe someone upped to the internet. and everything works perfectly.

thank you

If you have the Microsoft remote, you can configure your powerdown button in energy settings of xp. It's the setting for "standby button" in the second tab.

Thanks for explaining. I found a passing reference to this here: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/wiki/display/MediaPortal1/HID%20Profiles which I had overlooked in the past. I would find it logical for a created custom profile to be automatically activated, but until that happens, I will try to create a wiki page for the current...

Hi This is a general question about OnX. I have been using the TvWishList plugin for a while and have recently updated (update install) from MP 1.36 x86 to 1.37 x86 and found there seemed to be no Onx menu in the TV guide. I then configured the onx.presets.xml file like I would normally do with updates or fresh installs, but still...

Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

I think therein lies my problem. I am on 1.6.2.0. So thanks both for your help, I will pause this thread for now and come back to it while I work out what to do next. The problem is we have a family member who relies on MiniDisplay and I don't know if upgrading the set up is going to spoil compatibility with that plug in. The set up...
