Yeah, I actually deleted all my channels and rescanned because it happened that I was doing a new install with 1.2.0, MSSQL and the patches from this thread..

I've had no problem with the BBC ONE HD EPG, been using it since it was testing.

Hi guys,

Good news.

I'll have something to test tonight.

Spent a good 25 hours on this this project this week.

Full scan of all 800 channels taking 10 seconds.

Need to implement the auto update and grouping. This should take a few hours so I'll upload it later on this afternoon/tonight.

I have done some work on the config side (tvsetup) - ill post a few screenshots later.

I've also changed the way the EPG grabber is called in MP. It now tunes to the configured default transponder to perform the grab rather than needing to select "EPG background audio". One of the reasons i've done this is so from a fresh install (ie with no channels), we can do a "1 click" Sky setup (ie populate all channels, groups and the EPG). I've nearly finished a wizard to guide the user through this (ie selecting their region, options etc).

Hi sorry I was under the impression you'd just worked on the tswriter side? Don't worry if not - I did write some of the database update code a few weeks ago but I had a few problems with the tswriter code you sent me (quite a lot of empty tuning parameters and it seemed to miss channels out of the scan sometimes)

Anyway i'll post some screenshots later and explain in more detail what i've done and how I visioned it working.

The TSWriter is complete,
However for the channel Scan it uses the MediaPortal Scanner.
I can move the code around, thats not a problem.
