That is good news.... you got me thinking now though about my kit...

It is weird. I would have thought that my previous CPU/MOBO set up would have been more than enough to act as a standalone setup serving all the other clients in my house - there was definitely a massive bottleneck somewhere. At least I can use the old motherboard and CPU in another MP client (will I ever stop tinkering with MP?!).

Good point. Part of the fun is letting the Mrs get used to things, only to change everything again - keeps her on her toes.

I have a different tactic - I try to keep everything identical on all 3 units - same remotes, same plugins, same skins. The only difference is that the bedroom client has the sleepcontrol plugin and the other two units don't. This consistency prevents her from moaning too much.... if that is at all possible with wimmin'

I upgraded to 1.2.2 and the newest version of this at the weekend. Lots of problems, the main one being powerscheduler seems to be broken for me now... On my main htpc i.e. the one that runs tvserver, it'll go into suspend while watching tv or a movie Seems like the client powerscheduler plugin isn't talking to the server one maybe. Anyone else seen similar issues with this?

Which power scheduler? The standard MePo one, or PS++

Is it a single seat or a dedicated server with a separate client?

Standard one. It's single seat, with other clients i.e. the client in question is also on the server pc.

I have the same setup (single seat with remote clients).... but run the PS++ version.

This works fine for me.

I have found that you need to reinstall PS++ after installing the Sky enhancement. I have had to do this on both client & TV server.
