I think I selected probably the only program in the entire EPG that doesn't have series data to test the series link out! It works great as you explain, thanks. Overall, I think this is fantastic, I really hope it keeps up with future MePo releases because I'm not sure I could look at my HTPC again if it didn't have this installed :)

I've just figured out why I was having problems with the quick record menu... If I hit record on a program which is currently playing, I get the normal record menu with record this program or record until manual stop.
It seems to only bring up the quick record menu for programs in the future.

Is this expected behaviour? Just wondered why you can't schedule a series link on a currently playing program? What difference is it to a program in the future? Or is this a skin thing?

    Thanks

The behaviour you get is the same as I get. I'm using Avalon skin, but I don't think this changes with the skin.

Maybe worth asking Miroslav if he can consider this when he does a re-write.

That is correct behaviour, and has always been the case with both the Miroslav one, and the DJBlu one.

However, if you go to the next episode and then press series link, then it will also add the current programme so the series link data is actually present.

Odd I know, but it has always been this way...

Has anyone had any problems after having upgraded 1.2.2 with the Sky enhancement? I noticed that every time I resumed my HTPC from sleep, it took ages for the menu to do anything once selected - e.g. if I pressed TV Guide, it would just hang for a minute or so and once it did load up and I tried to select a channel and it would either say unknown error or it would tell me that the card was already being used.

I reinstalled 1.2.2 without the Sky plugin to check and everything was back to normal. I then reinstalled 1.2.1 with the Sky enhancement (which I amstill using) and again things are fine. Unfortunately I forgot to take any logs before downgrading.

I am thinking of doing a full reinstall of Windows 7 over the weekend but was just wondering whether anyone else had been having the same problem.

Exactly what I thought - it does seem strange that the Sky enhancement would have any affect on the general running of MP, but it is strange that it works fine with 1.2.1 and the enhancement. I shall post back here at the weekend after a complete re-install of Windows to see if that makes the problem go away.

    Thanks

Panic over. It is nothing to do with the enhancement.
It seems that my computer ( based upon Athlon II x2 240e CPU with HD4200 integrated graphics) just wasn't cutting it. I have just replaced it with an i3-2105 Sandy Bridge job and my setup has never been better. Everything works perfectly - it never crashes or freezes, it is super quick and the EPG now never causes any problems. It also wakes and goes to sleep without any issues.

Typical - it is so easy to blame software, but you would never think that a bit of fairly modern hardware would not be up to scratch.
